Honor And  Respect was formed in Waterbury, Ct  in 2016. 

WE  embarked upon this mission because we have family, and friends that are deployed, or are Veterans and some that have made the ultimate sacrifice  for their country. We  feel  that  NO Veteran should ever have to worry about coming home from the  Horrors  of war only to be ignored by the Government  they Served or by the citizens that they protected. They should be helped to transition back to some semblance of normality and  to connect with their loved ones without having to worry where their next meal is coming from.
    As you are well aware, every eight minutes we lose another brave soul to the ravages of P.T.S.D. …. Every  Two  Hours a Veteran  takes their own Life  because, in their mind, the War  has not ended for them. Depression, brought on by what appears to be abandonment by their government, the lack of  jobs, fear of impending homelessness and the seeming inability to take care of  themselves or their family, this is only a small amount of  the  leading causes of  the suicides. These numbers are absolutely unacceptable, and border on criminal. I  Believe  that if  we work together, we can drastically Reduce these Numbers.
